![]() ![]() She goes even further saying that caucasians may get to learn the traditional "ways" but will never get the "asé" which is the power to make things happen. Believe me: any other book will do better than this one at better cost.Īlso, bare in mind that she states clear that although she does NOT use the term: "white" in any place, she states clearly enough that "whites" should not be handling down hoodoo because it's cultural appropiation (unless you buy her courses for which i'm sure she won't have any racial issue in that case). or use instead "x"." (which apparently seems a "second" ingredient or less effective substitute or something up to you to decide). She just makes a list of "spells" with short introductions to "dos and don'ts" in her mishmash hoodoo style with her merchandising all over the place without teaching you to make any formulae she sells, so it's all about: "use my oil, blend, etc. You better go and watch her youtube videos and get a better taste though at least you won't waste your money. Second but not least, she does not pass down any relevant traditional hoodoo at all, so nothing special, notorious or worthy to have the need to buy it. The outside is gorgeous, type of rose petal finish in black.įirst of all, i don't consider it a book, but a sort of booklet or pamphlet (call it what you like), a couple of pages long when you take out the acknowledgments, index, etc. The author knows very well how to sell her merchandising, but the quality of the contents of this book put me totally off. I'm certain that this book may serve well for many people, so this review is a conclusion of my own personal thoughts and tastes on respect to the book.įrankly, i felt dissapointed.
